Americans Still Exist

Here’s one who gets it.

Gratifying and simultaneously—what? What’s the word for something that’s a lot like internal Schadenfreude in that it mostly feeds one’s cynicism?

“Proud” is how I felt too. Also hopeful: she’s young. Somebody taught her well—and/or she learned well. Wonder if I can ferret out some contact info. I’d nominate her for Prez.

Lots of the young ones think like we do, Ron.  They’re rebelling against their parents, who don’t.  Enjoy them, because their kids will rebel against *them* - and therefore, us.
