Don’t Know Why

But I’m thinking about my sister Jeanne a lot this week. Maybe it’s the Fourth of July parties at pat’s; I don’t even know if he and Debra are throwing one this year. Wish I could be there, via the TARDIS if necessary.

I spotted a bumperstrip in the Costco parking lot a while ago:

In Memoriam

And it reminded me of this.

In years gone by, I paid a fair chunk of change to Massachusetts in taxes, as did my family. Now I can chalk it up to something good.

Yeah, I know how that goes . . .

It’s one of the things about this whole insurance discussion that makes me a little crazy. I guess what I’d find useful is if the people (and their families) who oppose a public option, and/or decent insurance for EVERYONE, had to manage without insurance for three years, while the people who are now uninsured could have access to the care/insurance that, say, members of Congress have.

I can’t think about it too much, because it makes me insanely angry, actually.
