Oh, that’s such a GREAT picture!!!!!!!
I’ve been trying to capture some photos of the pack -flock-whatever the fuck you want to call it, POSSE of awesome dragonflies outside our house. But they are way too fast for my camera… Shit you not, there are at least 8 to 10 of them out there every morning. So cool!
I also want to send pics of my (finally) finished garden, but WARNING I used red mulch, and I think you might be anti mulch… Not sure why I had that notion.
Nonetheless, It turned out really nice. I used teeny juniper bushes, Texas Sage, purple porter weed, and purple azalea. So, it’s all very neutral and simple. I also read that the porter weed will attract butterflies, is this true?
Brian’s mom gave us a small tree that she grew for us. She said that once it matures, yellow flowers will bloom on it. I wonder what it’s called, so I’m going to send you a pic of it, I’m sure you and Joe know what it is… Perhaps once I send the pics, you can tell me where I should plant it.
Our house is facing the east and the sun sets in the back of the house, so I have to make sure everything I plant can be exposed to FULL sun. Who knew I would turn out to develop a passion for planting things?? It’s this weird maternal “nesting” thing that came about since Kai was born. I LOVE being outside with my plants.. And I totally “get” your passion for it now…
