Hey, the same place with the curried goat has oxtail, just so’s you know.

Surprisingly, I’ve had a few of these items that you haven’t:

37. Clotted cream tea (while backpacking around the UK)
45. Malt whisky from a bottle worth £60/$120 or more (at a party where the increasingly befuddled host was attempting a lecture and whisky tasting)
74. Gjetost, or brunost (from the same bizarre east coast store that offered green tuxedos and hazmat suits with ventilation holes under the arms)
75. Roadkill (No, we didn’t hit it. Yes, it was fresh.)

Unsurprisingly, there are a lot of them you’ve encountered that I have not.

Oh, you’ve had that unique Maryland treat, the Spider Sandwich!  (Admittedly, I don’t the rest of Maryland calls it that, but really!)

they do soft-shell crabs in south carolina, too.

ron, you have eaten more of this list than i have. but it kind of feels like cheating, for some parts of the list, to live in the bay area.  probably at least 35% the list is available just on solano.  [you’d have to go to san pablo ave. to get the big mac.]
