Very useful link, thanks!  I got my friend’s dog to behave today by threatening to buy it an aloha shirt.

Emma the cat wants an aloha shirt.

Uh-oh. I foresee shopping.

Not me!  If I actually buy it, what will I use as a threat?

Not me, either, not if it involves shopping.  Emma doesn’t want one that badly (although she’d look awfully cute in one).

i think cora the dog needs one—she is a spoiled daddy’s girl, and short-haired.  maybe this would be a good father’s day present for the empty-nester dad who has decided to devote his paternal attentions to his “beautiful girl.”

Hey, y’all, that link leads to an online store. No further shopping necessary.

V: Just wave the shirt. That’d do it, I think, diminished doggie color vision or no.

Shopping is shopping.  Online is no better than off-line, malls, stores, etc.  Em, alas, does not get an aloha shirt.  I’m not sure how I’d get it on her, anyway. . .  I can’t see her being amused by it.

Hell, I want an aloha shirt!

I do nearly all my shopping online (and at the end of the season, at that).  It is not uncommon for me to leave the house with every scrap of clothing on my body purchased through the interwebs.

Waving the shirt at him would probably make him bark.  He’s just a tiny dog in a giant world - albeit a very spoiled tiny dog.

I used to do my clothes shopping online.  Now I use freecycle or clothing swaps and I might finally (re)learn how to sew.  A little tailoring makes all the difference in the world, but I don’t want to pay for it!

So.  Awesome.

(Sam the cat definitely does NOT want an aloha shirt.)

Hey, it might cheer Sam up. Works that way for me!
